Murder Mubarak Movie Review: Mystery, crime and thriller drama have always been liked by the audience on OTT. But director Homi Adajania has tried to serve all these together in his new film ‘Murder Mubarak’ on Netflix. It is fun to watch murder mystery, when the suspense does not let you move from your seat and the mind repeatedly says ‘Enough of suspense, tell me who committed the murder…’ You are going to get both these feelings in this film. ‘Murder Mubarak’ is one such film by Homi Adajania, in which Pankaj Tripathi has played the role of police officer ACP Bhavani Singh. This film has been released on Netflix.

The story of ‘Murder Mubarak’ begins from ‘The Royal Delhi Club’. Here, in the Diwali party, the sound of a child crying is heard, which shocks everyone. There are all kinds of people in this party, from film stars to big industrialists and kings. This film moves forward presenting the story of the glamour of the outside world of the rich and the secrets hidden within them to the audience. At first, no one finds this incident strange, but then another murder takes place in the film. In the film, Leo Mathew (Aashim Gulati) suddenly dies while exercising in the gym. The club president wants to ignore it as an accident, but ACP Bhavani Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) proves that this is not an accidental incident but a well-planned move.

When Pankaj investigates, the story progresses with mystery, suspense and a touch of humor. There are some bold scenes in the film right in the beginning, which may make you a little uncomfortable. Now since it is OTT, you will definitely get to see an extra dose of it. Leo Matthew is a cunning man who looks like a jolly guy and has the secrets of all the people who come to the club. This is the thing that makes many members of the club suspects of this murder, because everyone has their own reason for committing this murder.

In such a situation, ACP Bhavani Singh starts suspecting anyone who comes in front of him. Pankaj’s investigation in the film is interesting. However, Pankaj repeats himself at many places. Actually, we have seen this style of Pankaj so many times that his humor this time seems to be repeating itself. The film has a huge star cast and everyone has got a decent amount of time in this two and a half hour film. One more important thing. If you have also come to watch this film after seeing Karisma Kapoor on the poster, then you may be a little disappointed. Karisma is there for a short time, but in this film too, she has become the heroine. The suspense and thrill of the film is interesting, which will keep you tied to your seat. As the scenes increase, the suspense and the desire to go to the climax increases.

Talking about acting, Vijay Verma has looked great in this film as always. Vijay’s specialty is that when he plays a bad man, you believe that he is really bad. Whereas whenever he plays the role of a good man, that too seems true. Vijay has done a great job in this film too. Apart from Vijay, it is fun to watch the characters of Sara Ali Khan, Tisca Chopra, Sanjay Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. Sara has not been able to prove much in acting till now, but in this film she has been better than before. It feels good to see Karishma, even if it is for a short time.

Homi Adajania is the director of this film and he has made it very well. The story of this film has been written by Ghazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta and their work in this part is excellent. ‘Murder Mubarak’ is a good film, which as per its name will give you all three things – entertainment, suspense and fun.
